Genealogy Mailing Lists
MAEssex-L is a Roots Web mailing that focuses on ESSEX COUNTY, MASSACHUSETTS. If you are a serious Essex County Researcher, I strongly suggest you join the official Essex County Mailing List. Here you will find hundreds of Essex County researchers trading information in an almost "family" atmosphere (most are cousins).
Spofford-L is mailing list that focuses on SPOFFORD, SPAFFORD, SPAFARD, AND SPAFORD family genealogy. This list gives those with Spofford Ancestry a place to post messages and queries to a relatively small, but focused mailing list. Its members are very friendly and helpful.
Northeast-Roots-L is a mailing list that covers all of New England. It is a large list with messages concerning all NE states. There are a number of members with considerable expertise in New England research.
